How Catherine’s Gift Emerged
While in graduate school studying Communication, Catherine began having a series of highly unusual experiences. Despite having been trained to be a logical social science researcher and theorist, she was besieged by a host of experiences which defied rational explanation or understanding. These odd events included being compelled to share with people, mostly strangers, messages that would initiate deep cathartic experiences and spontaneous releases for them. More dramatically, at times she took a person’s hands - with their permission of course - and as an electric current flowed from them into her, she would simultaneously experience their traumatic memories along with them. The duration of these occurrences could be as little as a few short minutes, but at the end people would have released their pain or negative emotions completely and would later report that a healing had taken place.
These were magical and mysterious times, and sometimes she wondered if she was losing her mind. There was no rhyme nor reason with the when, who or how these experiences would occur. The only commonality among these events was the deep peace and acceptance they brought for the recipients. Yet Catherine remained perplexed and disconcerted by these other worldly experiences, and not a little frightened. With the counseling of priests and others, she eventually accepted that this was a gift, that it was of God and Light, that she could let Source be in charge and share it with others without harm. As Catherine moved beyond the alarming onset of her gift, she found its expression expanding, becoming more refined, and she began writing down the messages, which were poetic, metaphorical, and psyche and soul opening. These Source Messages’ power to transform, heal and expand people’s consciousness, liberation and reconnection with themselves and Source has never waned. And the core purpose of all Catherine’s work - to share love, healing and upliftment and to be of service – likewise has never changed.
For over three decades, she has been honored to serve others by facilitating their own direct communications with Source, deceased people and people in comas. She writes down these messages longhand for clients, calling them “Writings.” Although it sounds “woo-woo,” Catherine remains fully present while writing, as she connects with and experiences this infinite all-knowing and all-loving Source energy of presence, complete alignment, oneness and peace. These writings are divine dialogues with Source. Even more powerfully, they are agents that allow recipients to access that same state of energy within themselves. In this way, Catherine’s gift allows us to experience ourselves as we truly are: divine, made of love, and both fully human and fully spirit.
The Source Messages in the writings have the potential to ignite our awareness of the already-present innate heart and soul connection to ourselves, soul and others. And then to activate this connection to one’s greater spiritual power and the even greater presence of love. The Writings can provide an intimate, energetic experience of being fully seen, accepted, acknowledged, and lovingly beheld not only by Source, but also by ourselves. Often the Writings address the struggles we encounter with being human and remind us of our own innate wisdom, love and divinity. In a world riddled with challenges, the wisdom of the Writings can reveal our patterns and tendencies to separate from and doubt our own greatness and the potential we have to grow and change. With this clarity, we can shift our perspectives and limited beliefs to open to new ways of seeing, new opportunities and possibilities, allowing transformation and expansion. All this, while affirming that each of us is connected to spirit and to our own innate wisdom and power.
God, Source, Universal Love or by whatever name each of us feels comfortable using, is real and present and there for each of us. And all of us, regardless of where we reside, what religious or spiritual practices we may or may not engage in, our color, language, gender, age, whatever our physical, intellectual, emotional or mental capabilities, are seeded with this infinite love, power and connection to All That Is. Although Catherine’s ability to connect is unique, in her experience, all people are created and designed to connect as well.
