A Few Words About Death

  • The sand is piled up high into a castle and with care placed there with all the bounty of the sea brought to rest on the shore. And sculpted - even smooth - the sides and tower are looming high. The tide can’t touch the fortress built on a solid shore of love. So the tides go in and out but do not reach its door, for this love is forever-lasting, rich, secure. Sand and grains of time be merely the mortar of a life full but in the ever after a transcendence, an opening of the brighter door.

  • The soul does not perish. It simply rises into a new liberty. Embrace both the dark hour - and the liberation.

  • After death you become an energy. You are the same consciousness but without the barriers of a physical body. You are no longer cast into the one dimensionality but are boundless and boundaryless.

The euphoria of death is to feel the energy that is always around you in a totality, so in this way you may feel the bliss of merging. It is merely to be connected to that which has always been, but which the physical body screened out of your experience. But the you - the consciousness, the uniqueness - remain very much separate yet connected to the greater energy.

Sadness, Grief and Loss

  • So spirit, great spirit, where have you gone? The spirit that held you closest, the echoes are unending, the question unanswered and the arms once full now empty. But recall the soul for the soul is what knows there is no end. And this is what your heart knows but cannot comprehend. And the work of soul which you have done plenty of brings you not the peace you seek. For losing the love is a very deep mystery.

  • Help those who are lost to themselves to see the beauty in creativity. And in this way you bring the light of hope, a crack where it was previously dark. There is no ability to understand why a mind grows dim or why the ability to hold the possibilities is vanquished. But to be present amidst the darkness, to hold a matchstick, to draw the contours of a star on a dark night - this is your bounty. Don’t seek understanding. Just carry your matchbook and light them where you see need.

  • Let your pain in all its enormity be felt, not only to try to focus on supplanting who you are, but to use this pain and division and all its faces of sadness, regret and loss as an engine that drives you forward to want a different course and align with the life you know is reflective of the you that deserves to live and express and be in the fullness of light as well.
